Snow Melt

We took a hike up to Long Lake in the Uinta Mountains in the spring. There were still piles of snow here and there. This is just a pool of run-off that would be there and gone within a week. I was impressed with the reflection on the water, and that I could also see the bottom. It became a challenge to me to paint the scene as it was.
