Arches National Park

Arches National Park, Utah.

My Wife and I took a trip to Arches the last week in Feb, 2017. It was a little chilly but no traffic. Got a lot of ideas for paintings, this is the first. I loved the distance in the painting.I have chose a number of  others from the Park and the Colorado river area to paint. Hope you like them.

Camel Back

This mountain is part of the Uinta mountains in Utah. Springville Utah is at the base of it. This is my view from the street by my house on a cold winter sunrise. The locals call it the camel back because of a rock formation on the side of the mountain that looks like a camel.

This little barn was on the east side of I15 interstate, south east Idaho. It is no longer there. I named it after the Clabber Girl baking powder add on the barn.

Fall creek flows down the canyon and falls into the Snake River. This is in Swan Valley, Idaho. My boys and I would climb down the face and stand on the rock ledges and fish. Good times.

This is a tributary of the Snake River as it runs thru Swan Valley, Idaho.Take a dirt road on the west side of the valley. It will follow the river to the dam. Good drive, good view, good fishing.
